Gold filled is easy to care for and will usually maintain its golden shine for a lifetime. Gold filled is constructed in two or three layers. It comprises a solid brass (copper and zinc) core over which gold is mechanically bonded using heat and pressure. Unlike gold plated metals, gold filled is legally required to contain 5% or 1/20 gold by weight. The gold used in all our gold filled jewelry is 14K.

Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals, usually copper. Sterling silver is much more durable compared to fine silver because of the added metal alloys. This can help your piece last and stay looking the best it possibly can for longer.
